  • Leonard (Len) Kiefer is an economist who helps people understand what’s going on in the economy, housing, mortgage markets. Len joined Freddie Mac in 2009, and has served as Deputy Chief Economist since December 2012.  Len is responsible for primary and secondary mortgage market analysis and research, macroeconomic analysis and forecasting.

    Prior to joining Freddie Mac, Len was an assistant professor at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas where he conducted research on macroeconomics and monetary policy. He has also taught economics at The Ohio State University and finance at George Mason University. 

    Kiefer holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Kentucky, and a PhD from The Ohio State University. Len is a member of the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (AREUEA) and the National Association for Business Economics (NABE).

  • Along with her signature passion for people, Sue Woodard brings over thirty years of financial services and fintech experience to her roles as an independent consultant, Senior Advisor to the STRATMOR Group and industry “Evangelist At Large!”

    Sue started her career at the ground level in banking, became a top producing loan originator, then leveraged her knowledge to become a highly acclaimed industry speaker, subject matter expert and fintech executive.

    In addition to having hosted a successful financial radio program and making guest appearances on CNBC, Sue has been awarded numerous industry honors, including the NMP Most Powerful Women in Mortgage Banking and the Housing Wire Vanguard Award.

    She also serves on the board of HOPE4Youth, a non-profit working to end youth homelessness, as well as on the board of Axis Lending Academy, an industry non-profit working to lift individuals into financial careers.

    As a bit of a thrill seeker, she has sky-dived over Vegas, fire walked on hot coals, Harleyed down Route 66, run a Ragnar through the Arizona desert and cage dived with great white sharks in South Africa – but claims nothing has been more exciting than raising her millennial daughter in her home state of Minnesota.

  • Jenny Masoud is the Director of Analytics at the Mortgage Bankers Association.  As part of MBA’s Research team, she leads various benchmarking and reporting efforts including as Project Manager for MBA’s Quarterly Mortgage Bankers Performance Report.  She serves as a primary analyst for the MBA and STRATMOR Peer Group Roundtable program (PGR) and MBA’s Servicing Operations Study and Forum (SOSF.)  Her work on these studies involves benchmarking profitability, productivity, revenue and expense for both banks and independent mortgage companies.  She also serves as staff representative for MBA’s Human Resources Networking Group and is the lead analyst for MBA’s Technology surveys.  She is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University where she received her B.S in Mathematical Statistics and Economics.
